if you want those specs, you're gonna need 30mm spacers up front and 35mm spacers in the rear.
245/40 & 265/35. you could just run the 245/40 all around. I doubt you're putting as much power down as he is - you don't need the 285 or even the 265 he now runs.

you're also going to need 66.1 hubcentric rings - or else you're gonna have some crazy *** vibrations.

here's what I have to say about daily driving with a kuruma z. - slam it as low as you want. just be smart with how you drive. just sayin.

Need isn't the word you're looking for.

I thought the coupes need one size higher for the rear to not effect vdc?
Thank you for your response!
And beautiful drop, what coil overs are you using?

Close to, am planning on tokico shocks/350z springs. Think Mild roll front and rear?

Never heard of that - I'm unsure. 4DGS can chime in on that.

I'm on Stance GR+ Pro with 14k/6k Swift Springs.

Lol. Dear God no. You need a much lower drop to pull off those offsets. And for those specs, you'll need to be rolled and pinched flat.

No, whoever explained that to you just cut some corners lol

You need to be within 3% of overall diameter front to back weather that's a 25 series sidewall or a 55....

245/40 & 265/35.
Actually it's the delta %. The system will tolerate a 3% deviation from this. Stock delta front to rear diam is 2.7% (call it 3%)..rear larger in diam by this amount. You can be within 3% from this RELATIVE DELTA of front to rear. So, if you had a rear EQUAL to the front..that would be a ZERO delta front to rear or a net change of 3% in Delta and within the *3% rule*, so you're OK. However, a 265/35/18 is 2.3% SMALLER than the front 245/40/18 here..so you have a TOTAL DELTA of around 5% from original..not 3%, since you went an additional 2.3% beyond parity, reversing the relationship F/R. This set up *should* trip the VDC.
