So I just purchased a new wheel tire setup, found a GREAT deal on craigslist on couldn't resist. The wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 along with 255/45r19's

This setup is 18mm larger in total circumference than stock. I don't see this being a problem with anything but VDC and mph readings but that's not why I'm here. I have 350z eibach sportlines arriving tomorrow that will lower the car 1.7 inches total.

Will the new setup fit Inside the wheel wells without any issues? I'll be rolling the fenders and grabbing some spacers for a better look as well

 

You post questions but you didn't give us enough information! What do you drive coupe or sedan? What are the offsets, that's very important if you're driving around with more than two doors? A little more info you have your answers....Gary

 

Agreed! I drive an 03 coupe with brembos
The offsets on the wheels are very weak I know but I'll bring em out a bit after with spacers

ARK design r8 wheels with Pirelli Pzero's

Front - 19x8.5 +45mm 255/45r19
Rear - 19x9.5 +25mm 255/45r19

Space from tire now to lowest point on suspension is 1.5 inches away and space from tire to inner wheel well is more than 3 inches.

If all goes well ill probably run 30-35mm spacers up front and 20~mm in back ... I'm not sure yet I'll have to measure once they get mounted and the fenders are rolled...

 

You only have one issue with your wheels Mr. B you'll need spacers in front, that offset is terrible! Don't try any fast corners until you do get spacers!! When you need to buy tires next go with 40 or 35 series the 45s are too tall. What are you going to do with your alignment once you've installed those springs? There's no doubt with Ebach springs you'll need a complete camber kit! SEARCH lowering or camber kits, all your questions have been answered....Gary

 

Thanks for the help man! I appreciate it. I'm probably gonna wait to install the springs until I acquire a camber kit to keep things in check and my tires with tread. I'll def be lowering the sidewall to 40/35 next Time around but $600 for everything was too good to pass up. With the taller tires it should give it a nice racecar look when lowered especially with the GIGANTIC spacers I'll need lol

 

You'll run into VDC issues if you use the same size tire all around. That size seems quite large in overall diamter also. I'd scrap the tires.

 

I run a 275/40r18 on all 4 corners and i dont have any issues with my traction control

 

The size is just 18mm larger all around (.7 inches) . There should be no clearance issues and 275/40r18 is a pretty big tire, to have that on with no traction issues makes me a little more comfortable. Now, if these were to affect VDC how would they do so? Whenever the g is driven hard VDC is off.

 

No no issues at all and i drive mine hard all the time
