My buddy got a set of ADR rims. the size are 18x7.5 +48
will these fit a 05 x sedan?
what tire size should i use?

Also look into your own stock sizes and see how it looks.
No compare that to the sizes you mentioned...

 

Any of the following sizes will fit the car and those wheels.

225/45-18
235/45-18
245/45-18

 

It's not just that.
You also have to consider how a slim wheel will look on our cars.
As well as your tire circumference and stagger so you don't trip the VDC/TCS and your speedometer.

Stick to the recommended sizes unless you know what your doing or go stock.
