hi all, i have a carib blue coupe and wanted to know what u all think about powder coating. I'm planning on powder coating my stock 18" rims gunmetal. what do you all think?

I have always been a big fan of body colored wheels.....

I say go for it...

When it comes time to do the job, I think I will spray my car yellow with the same color on the stock wheels....

Was that sarcastic?... the wheels arent going to be body colored...i said gunmetal as in skyline r34 dark grey oem wheels...not carib. blue...

 

Not sure how you're planning on doing this, but as long as you leave a silver lip, I think it'll look good.

Well some gunmetal colors are...Greyish and some are blueish....I assumed you meant more on the blue side.....

A reply to myself: I guess you wouldn't be able to leave a silver lip since the stock rim isn't a three piece wheel. So, IMO, I don't think it'll look good just another Volk TE-37 style knock-off, leave it stock or save the money to buy new rims.
