I have a 05 coupe and ordered new vossen VVSCV3 and hankook v12's. I had shaking from the get go that they couldnt ballance out then two weeks later the paint was bubbling and chipping off the wheels. A sceond set was sent out and there where scratches on all the wheels and bubbles in the paint out of the box. Vossen said I they wont be sending out anymore wheels. I really wanted the wheels so I kept the second set. (my mistake) After I had them mounted I had such a bad shake everything in my car vibrates! I went back to have them re balance the wheels 5 times and still it shakes. I will be sending them off to a wheel repair shop in two weeks to see if they can be salvaged. I started doing some research (which I should of done before) and there are alot of complaints with the finish chipping off and vibration problems. Luxury, performance wheel ...I think not. Dont waste your money!

You paid too much and can easily spend an extra $500 and get quality name brand. These are brand new wheels from work, volk or rays for $2900-$3800. If you are willing to go used than you can easily find them for $3k and get quality. If you are including the price of the tires into the $3k that would explain the quality and price of vossen.

You paid 3kfor vossens??? Should have done volk or works. There is a reason why we all run volks or works. I'm really sorry to hear this I am.

3k wheels and tirs out the door. I really liked the style but it's not worth the shakeing. Live and learn. Ill see what the wheel repair shop says.

Vossens are 1 step above Varrstoens and other rep wheels. I got nothing against reps but Vossens are supposed to be "High" quality. At least that's how they market. Aren't they all 1 piece cast wheels too?

 

They "MARKET" to be high quality. Yes 1 piece cast

 

Did your shop install hubcentric rings?

 

i have vossen 085s with yokohama tires and love them. i haven't had any problems with them, they ride just as smooth as my stocks.. sucks that you're going through issues with yours. hope you get it straighten out.
