Hi everyone,

Just thought Id share my new purchase

Authentic BBS EVO MR Forged Wheels 18" 5x114.3

I had to machine 370z lugnuts in order to get these to work. Sorry about the poor quality nighttime photo, ill take some more when I get a chance.

Bolt Pattern - 5x114.3
Offset = +38mm
Width = 8.5"
Diameter - 18"
Weight - 18.5 lbs each (Extremely light for 18" rims)

Just purchased some wheel spacers, going to install them soon to help get the wheel offset right.

You def need a drop and spacers to pull those off...

Spacers I agree with, but im not to sure I could handle anything more than a 1/2" drop for day to day driving...

I agree, way too much wheel gap in those fenders. Personally I would have to do at least a 1" drop and big spacers but if you are happy with them that is all that matters. I doubt many people on here would appreciate my current wheel setup so who cares what people think of your wheels really?

Very true, thanks for your input. To be honest I bought the rims more for their weight (or lack thereof) they were 6 lbs less per wheel than the stock 350z 18"s I had on. Loosing that much rotating mass changed the charactistics of the car for the better in my opinion. I wanted the spacers to regain the track width of the stock setup (maye gain a few mm)

What issue did you have with the lug nuts? I'm looking at getting a set of these I assumed they used the standard "tuner style" lug nuts but is that not the case?

The lug nuts required for these rims are "mag or flat style lug nuts" The do not have the 60 degree conical shape which is self centering.

Most likely the aftermarket ones you have or "tuner style" will not work as I have seen very few lug nuts which will work with the thread pattern let alone the stud hole size in the rim.

So then the oem Infiniti lug nuts should work then? There's only 2 types of lug nuts right? Flat and conical. Or is there an issue with the size of the hole that the nuts won't fit in them?

No off the shelf lug nut exists which will make these work on our cars. From infiniti, nissan or anyone else for that matter unfortunately

The guy I'm buying them from has them on a maxima so I highly doubt that...what keeps the stock lug nuts from fitting?
