Will 20x8 wheels off the FX45 fit 2003 Sedan?
like the title says.
The FX45 has a taller profile tire, but the wheels are 20x8 with a 40mm offset. I will be replacing the tires anyway to the proper size.
It seems from my reading that I can fit a 20x8.5 with a ~41 offset. I am not afraid of a little fender rolling in the rear, but dont want to mess with that in the front.
From all my reading it *appears* they will fit fine, but anyone have any real world experience?

Question I have, how much to they weigh?
Question I have, how much to they weigh?
It has been my experience that factory aluminum wheels are most of the time lighter than 3/4 of the aftermarket ones available in the same size. I would go with HREs or the similar for some kind of weight savings, but am not a fan of HREs and recent cracking issues. I would rather have OEM quality and the OEM look for 1/4 of the price of an aftermarket wheel that may or may not have been made to proper tolerances.
If I find a weight for them Ill post it up, I am waiting on an email back with more info about the wheels.

25-30lbs is about what most 3pcs wheels weigh in the 19" size...so not
too bad, I guess. but anything below the springs on the car (unsprung weight)
is about 4x the static weight... So, between a 25lbs and 30lbs wheel, that's
roughly 80lbs in difference...but ofcourse need to consider the weight of the
tires.

I dont. I decided not to go that route. I was planning on betting a black G35, but ended up with a desert platinum one. I dont think they will look quite right on it.
There are usually a couple sets of the FX wheels for sale on Ebay at any given time. I suggest looking there. You should be able to pick up a set for $1000 if you are patient. If not, you can probably get a set for $1200-1300.
If you do it, post up some pics. I am still somewhat on the fence, so if it looks cool enough, I might still do it.
