Stern ST-2; The answers to your questions...

Hey everyone,
I know i'm pretty new here but I know my way around the car forums. Back to the topic on hand, I did a bunch of searches on the Stern St2 wheels (the ones they sell on Ebay; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43959 ) and not one person had a reply on weither they would clear the brembo brakes. Well I bought these wheels in 19's (staggered; 19x8.5 and 19x9.5) with a 20+offset in the fronts and 25+offset in the rears. The rears fit just fine and looked amazing. The fronts was where we ran into some problems. I was told by the guy who sold me the rims that it should need a 5-10mm spacer for these to clear the brembo's so I did just that. I picked up a 7mm spacer and lined up the wheel with no success. I grabed a ruler and it needed more of an one in'+ spacer (about 25mm-30mm) to clear the front brembo. I was left kind of annoyed at this point, since I did not want to A.) Have to place huge spacer in the front and have the fronts come out more then the rears. B.) drive on four wheels with 30mm spacers C.) pay out the extra cash to slove my problems.

I'm now back on my stocks and am in the market for a new set of rims that I know will fit.

So, to answer the question at hand the Sterms St-2 wheels will fit on a g35 with out Brembo's No problem. They are a great looking wheel at a really great price. Just realize you get what you pay for.

So if anyone wants a these rims, I have them for sale. The tires have been mounted and balanced and have never been used. The stickers are still attached. The tires are Falkens 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 which are up for sale btw (check the sales forums).

i talked to the guy with the 350z he said the 20x8.5 with 32mm in front with 1 inch spacer was perfect. the 35 stuck in to much and the 20 stuck out to much with spacer

the rear 20x9.5 25mm offset worked perfect. btu they have a 20x9.5 20mm offset coming out which will give nicer lip
