Hi, new to forum, names Ken and I just purchased a 2005 G35 coupe w/ stock sport package on the AT car. I'm totally a newbe about this stuff and tried searching for an answer with no luck.
Looks like stock 19"s with the red brakes saying Brembo on them. Cleaning out trunk and found spare not bolted down and some redish pink substance all around the inside of it. Realized it had been used and rubbed on the brake calipers (or more specifically the red plastic caliper covers) and found which wheel it had been used on from the worn off corners of the cover...![EEK!](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
My guestion is, could the factory actually have a stock spare that can't be used on their stock sport package??? Was I dupped with aftermarket brakes maybe? Does the spare need spacers or something to clear? Wrong spare maybe? I'm at a loss but do know the brake cover on the damaged wheel is loose and can't tell how to fix. Other wheel covers are nice and tight.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

I since did an image search for Brembo's and couldn't find a diagram or exploded view of mine to tell what I'm up against. (sorry, aluminum, not plastic "cover"
) Most look like just exposed calipers.
Mine must have some kind of cover since there are metal clips attached to those bolts with the loose brake is not "clipped" in place. It's either sprung or bent or something as without pulling the wheel, can't tell what's up. Any pics or exploded diagrams of this brake I can get a link to? Thanks.

These have some kind of covers but the logo on them is raised and in the casting. Does anyone know a link to a pic of stock Brembos on a 2005 coupe for comparison? I would assume the sport pack for the AT would include everything in the MT model less the extra HP so the brakes would be the same?
Thanks again!
