Brake Maintenance

I have 13's Stoptech BBK. And I was wondering how often you have to switch ur pads, rotors, and brake fluids. Do they last longer than stock brake system? I am a daily driver with no track..

With pads and rotors it all depends on your driving style. There is no set time line. The harder you work your brakes, the faster they will wear down. Brake pads and rotors are wear items. They have minimum thicknesses and should be checked every so often. Once they are close or at the minimum then you need to change them out. With brake fluid the maintenance guide on a premium schedule calls for it to be flushed every 30K miles or 24 months. But thats assuming your using the oem fluid or something equivalent. Use a higher performing brake fluid that is more hydroscopic like Motul RBF 600 and you will have to change it out more often.
