G35 coupe sport tuned suspension 19'' wheel
Wheel replacement, extra 1/2 wheel stud??

Hello,
I purchased some wheels with winter tires to install on my g35 coupe sport tuned 19'' .

When I got the stock infiniti wheels off it looked like the bolt pattern for the new wheels was correct however there was an extra protruding threaded piece that was about 1/2 the length of the wheel studs which prevented me from mounting the new wheels. With my stock infiniti wheels this piece fits nicely in a valley between two of the lug nut holes that the wheel stud would go through?

Can anyone provide some info on this?

Thank you!!

Pictures please, but it sounds like you have wheel spacers.

I'm assuming your car had a factory staggered tire configuration. You can remove that extra "stud" (it should just unscrew). It was there to prevent wheels with the wider rear tires from being put on the front.
