Wider tires

It's only about an 1" wider so it should fit but it's going to make the speedo read about 5mph too fast and the slight extra drag with the width will affect the mileage a little but they get lousy mileage anyway so we're used to it, right?

Your mom's boyfriend
Question But why

Bro ....

225/55/17 is 3.7% BIGGER than
245/40/17 which is ovb 3.7% smaller on your REARS

I don't get why you'd want that

If you use staggered tires that are greater than 3% difference in size you will set off the VDC system.
