245/45R19 38mm Offset? Increase Ride Height Safely?

Hello G35Driver Members,

How can I install 19" wheels to gain additional ground clearance while preserving/improving my ride and stability? Has anyone raised their G35x without the use of suspension spacers?

I recently returned from a camping trip for which I drove my 2006 G35x AWD Sedan. My car has stock suspension w. 17x7" wheels and P215/55R17 tires. While on the trip, we took several Forest Service roads, many of which were rough mountain passes which in reality called for a truck. Upon our descent my under-tray and bell-housing cover got ripped off the bottom of my car, and the lower bracing and sway bar mounts were dragged against the rocky ground. If we go again, I'd love to be able to have an inch or two more clearance/ride height to allow passage on forestry roads. Also, considering the damage to my plastic bits, I will be replacing the under tray and bell housing cover with aluminium units from Toll Booth ***** (https://www.tbwperformance.com/2004-...r-tray-silver/)

So, my question is this, could I put on 245/45R19 tires on 19x9.5" rims with a 38mm offset?, and using my stock suspension to effectively increase my ride height while maintaining normal ride feel and preventing rubbing?

I am concerned about the large increase in tire size messing up the front turning radius, as well as posing fitment and clearance issues. A crazy size which I would love to find would be 240/45R19 but no-vendor seems to offer that size...

Alternatively, can I expect a 235/45R19 w. either a 35mm or 38mm offset to work similarly but more within clearance tolerances?

Is anyone having front clearance/turning issues with 245/45/19's tires in front?

A crazy alternative I have devised would be to get an Air Ride suspension with a 3.6" drop, but use that with a 2" spacer, to go 2" above stock height, or -1.6" at it's lowest setting...

Ideal but unavailable size:

And, 245/45's:

Best,
