Help & Opinions wanted on Tires & Wheels

I have an '07 G35x and would like to to the following in order of time:

1) +1 wheels & tires
TSW Zolder 18x8 w/ 40mm offset (only offset option)
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S plus (see below for size)

2) suspension lowing - I am conservative, so maybe 1"

3) bigger brakes from the S (not sure about this)

So, some questions:

a) the Michelin Pilot A/S + is not available in the exact +1 size of 225/50-18, so there are two choices: 245/45-18 or 255/45-18. Which tire size should I get?

b) I have looked long and hard for wheels and I like the Zolder, but it only comes in 40mm offset. Some people have told me that if I lower the car I may get rubbing on the wheel wells - any ideas?

c) One dealer told me that if I put the bigger brakes from the G35x on with the Zolder, the wheel may hit the caliper... again, any ideas? would a spacer solve this issue?

I appreciate any help.
Thanks
Sunil

an offset of +40 might tuck a little but spacers can fix that. honestly the best way is to drop first then check how much of an offset you need.

and those are some big tires for an 18x8 i have a 19x8.5 and i run 245/40-19
if i had to pick go with the 245/45-18 or find a brand of tires that are the right size.

with a 1'' drop you shouldnt get any rubbing issues at least i dont think if you do throw some camber in there

and yes spacers will fix the BBK problem if you have one.

if you want to check my thread i am dropped on BC coilovers and running 19x8.5 +25 with 245/40/19 they poke out a tiny bit

Okay, so I'm reading through here, looking at another stance posting site, reviewing tires, wheels, and availability, and I'm starting to realize a few things:

235/40/R19 is preferred for front wheel clearance. 35mm Offset is adequate and looks good with 19x8.5" wheels E.g.: https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...m691-bc-racing

245/40/R19 is wider and taller and pushes clearances to the limit, but has been done and supposedly works with stock suspension on 19x9.5" wheels when using a 38mm Offset. E.g.
https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...bazreia-eibach

Here is a sick looking 19x9.5 with stock offset; I worry this required fender rolling:
https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...nc005-raceland

Here is an interesting example using 245/35/R19 on 19x9.5"'s with a 22mm offset in the front:
https://www.fitmentindustries.com/wh...forme-9-eibach

I've seen a lot of people posting with different mm offsets as low as 12, commonly 20, 25, and some even higher than the stock 35mm offset, at 38, and when using spacers commonly 40, 45, and even 50 when using spacers.

With the factory offset at 35mm would there be any recommended offset for 19x8.5 or 9.5" rims that would be more flush but would NOT require rolled fenders? I ask in part because a 25mm offset appears to be a common choice and available option from manufacturers. On the other I've seen 38mm offsets used for 9"+ wheel widths.

Any advice here? I'm thinning about buying Enkei 19" rims, and debating on 18" v. 19", 8.5" v 9.5", and in particular the offsets (22, 25, 35, 38mm). Ultimately, I want to slightly raise the car (I know it's counter-intuitive to most G drivers but I want to go camping) and preserve my stock suspension without any rubbing or other wear issues.

Again, I have a G35x AWD and want a square setup. Do you all think going with a 19x9.5" wheel with a 22, 35, or 38mm offset and 245/35/R19Y tire size, on all four corners, would be advisable?

Would that be doable on stock suspension without fender rolling, or wear like bumps, rubbing or turn radius issues?

Am I thinking about this the wrong way and should I only think about an 18x8.5" setup? I really like the Enkei PF01s and would consider those if that is the path you all recommend.
8.5": 460-885-6635 SP 18x8.5 35 5x114.3 75
9.5": 460-895-6635 SP 18x9.5 35 5x114.3 75 20.65

For 19x9.5" I am thinking Enkei RAIJIN: 467-995-6535 HS, BK 19x9.5 35 5x114.3 72.6 R

Also, I'm really interested in the PF05 racing wheels as it looks like they offer maximal brake clearance.

Note, the motivation for this is also to add/upgrade to Brembo or Akebono brakes, which will not fit with the stock G35x 17x7" rims.

Best,
-CKBOSS
