Help with Lug Nut Size

What is the correct lug nut size for our cars? I'm assuming sedan and coupes are the same. I just got my new wheels and tires and they sent me the wrong sized lug nuts. They are the small diameter "tooner" spline drive lugs and are 12mm X 1.50. I tried putting them on and obviously it wouldn't go anywhere after the first thread caught. So for now I'm just using my OEM lug nuts which I barely got back on with a 13/16 socket. Anyways someone please post up the correct size. TIA.

Darren

Nevermind. I think I just found my answer. But please post up to confirm if this is right.

"In the case of a Nissan 12mm x 1.25 wheel stud"

So I think the correct size is 12mm x 1.25. Appreciate any verification.

hey darren,

i got 20 extra lugnuts laying around. i figure you are gonna have one lug nut key per wheel, so you'll only need 16 lugs.

the thing is...12 of those have a 19 mm end and the other 4 have a 21 mm end.

i also have 4 19 mm end, but they are a different style.

anyways, if you want them (freebie), let me know and I'll bring them to the dyno day.

Eloy, Vinh... thanks guys. I'm gonna sort this out with Direct Tire and I'm sure they'll send me the correct kit. I'll let you know Vinh. Appreciate it.

Nah, I still have those. I just barely got them onto my new wheels since the lug holes are smaller compared to the stock wheels. I called up my salesguy at DTD and he's sending me the correct size Gorilla lugs free of charge. He even let me keep the wrong sized set they sent me originally. Thanks for the offer though.

Pay special attention to the length, I picked up some cheapies off ebay (correct size at 12 x 1.25) but they were too long and looked funny. They were like 35mm long, so I'm returning them and just ordered some Muteki which are 21mm long with open end, should be about perfect.
