? for S-tech owners
For all who have installed the S-techs on their coupe....
Is it just the rear that will be out of camber spec? or is the front common?
I was reading another post, stating all that you need for the rear to get back to spec, are new nuts, ~$45. is this true? Also what will be needed for the front, and how much. Basically im debating between the s-tech (best looking drop) and the 350z H-techs (not known for throwing the camber off, but dont look as good IMO) for my coupe. Plz let me know what you guys have experienced with theses setups...thanks

have s.techs and the fornt camber is causing more wear than the rear. havne't noticed any abnormal wear on my rear tires yet after several thousand miles but have already noticed wear on the inner edge of the front tires. I've a set of Cusco front upper arms on the way. they're made adjustable to compensate for some of the negative camber. there's several companies that make them

both front and rear will be out of alignment. My front sits at -1.8 camber but it's
actually the toe that causes more/less tire wear. I set mine usually 0.08 to 0.09
total toe on front. The rear Im using Prokits so can't speak for Stech owners, but
when I did have the s-tech rears the rear was like -3.5 without the camber rods.
The -1.8 on the front is actually quite good if you are a fast corning kinda guy
(like me). my rear is currently set a -2.6 with the stillen rods (prokit springs -1.4"
drop) toe is 0.30 range total.
both front and rear tires are wearing pretty much flat.
livya- you know that those cusco's can only go very little positive camber, right?
those are to be used at stock or close to stock ride height to get more neg
camber.

I personally don't think you need the front a-arms. You might want to look into
the rear camber rods if you can't get it near or less than -2 on the rear while
using the factory rods. some coupes can get it pretty close, some like mine
are completely off...just some kinda bias from production dates I guess.
The Kinetix rear rods were pretty cheap, like $200 range. my stillens were like $450.

ken, yea I know they only remove a small amount of the front negative camber. I like the handling the way it rests right now but for normal driving I want the tires to wear a bit flatter. with the Cusco's, I can keep the forn camber a bit more negative than factory to improve handling but not enough to cause excessive tire wear and I can increase the negative camber when I need for tracking or driving events.
