My new (slightly used) rims and tires, only $1000

I wish I had $3000-$4000 for rims like you guys, but with my wife and I buying a house in Socal, I think this is a pretty good deal, since I needed new tires anyway. I bought them off someone on my350z.com, and since he was in Socal, I didn't have to pay for shipping.

The tires had about 70% tread left. I still have to put my Infiniti center caps on.

I put a few light layers of Duplicolor clear/silver wheel paint to make them slightly darker than stock, and to give them more metallic flakes.

I polished the brake calipers yesterday, and these rims really show them off better than the stock rims.

Incidentally, my stock Pilot Sports still have a fair amount of tread left, even after 27K miles, both front and rear. I'm still trying to decide what to do with the stock 18"s.

Two more gratuitous shots.

I do like the finish on the stock 18s more, but the weight savings on these rims more than make up for that.

those are stock Z track wheels right? Are they 17's? They look nice, but I really want to know how after 27k ur stock pilots have tread. I have no more than 10k on my pilots and my rears are close to showing the belts. Im finally gettin them off friday

Got 23K out of mine with three track events and a handfull of smoky burnouts. Replaced the rears at 2/32 depth. Still use the fronts for track days.

I must drive harder than I realize... the only bad habit I have is on ramps. I really love to take the G to its limits on those

I'll take a pic of my Pilot Sports at some point, but my commute is 1.5 hours of 0-10 MPH driving one way everyday. It really sucks.

Oh yeah, they are 18s. 18*8 in front, 18*8.5 in rear. A few people on my350z have had these powdercoated and then the lip polished. Maybe in the future I'll do that. But for now, I'm just happy with some lightweight rims that keep the car looking OEM.
