Scratches in the lugnut holes

I know this was posted up a while back but I couldn't find the thread. But it was about a rubber coated socket that won't scratch up the wheels when your changing them. does anyone know where i can find this?

Just tape some masking tape around your socket where it rubs against
the bore of the lug hole. no need for some fancy mumbojumbo marketing
crap.

Electrical tape is also good.

Now, if you can just get the guys at the tire shops to do something about their air impact tools.

Im a tech for Infiniti, and I personally use a thin wall deep 21mm socket. I also wrap the socket in electrical tape as well. and when tightening, I used a thin walled 90ft/lbs torque stick also wrapped in electric tape. Go slow or else the tape will just shred off.

Masking tape is actually tougher because it has a slick finish and it doesn't
build heat as much as e-tape. e-tape weakens when it heats up from the
friction, softens, then shreds. try masking tape.
