As long as the center hole of your spacer is a 66.1mm diameter version and
sits properly on the hub, you should be fine if only a 5mm spacer. You'll still
have about 4-5mm of the stock hub exposed making your wheels hubcentric.
tirerack.com has some nice spacers. talk to Alex over there.

Now, remember that our wheels are lug centric although they are hubcentric
to make them convenient for installation. If you do any track time, use
longer studs.

Hey Ken, how much spacer mm can be stacked until it's PUSHING it? YOu think 10mm would still be safe for daily FWY driving?

on stock studs, 5mm is max. if u use longer studs you can do 5-20mm. If
u get too aggressive, ur going to prematurely wear the bearings.

There was a previous post about this same topic.

Some guy was ranting about the physics of it all and when I asked details / data to back up his post, he got pissed off. I was amused.

Funny, when people really know their sh*t they do everything they can to help you out but others who blow smoke get offended at any inquiry about their info.

I have H&R Trac + on my front wheels, no issues. The Trac + spacers with extended bolts are 55 bucks and maybe another 30 for install (thats what i got charged).. so I dont see why you wouldnt want to go the safe route and get the longer studs.

That's a nice option.

you might want to read my thread on spacers: https://g35driver.com/forums/wheels-tires/52645-wheels-installed-using-spacers-good-bad.html
some good info there. you may reconsider using spacers.
