Put a good solid four hours into the car today.

Put my Hawk pads and drilled/slotted rotors on. I also installed half of my JIC coilovers. Whle everything was a part I cleaned the inside of my wheels and wetsanded them. I also cleaned the chit out of the Brembos!

Did you wet sand the entire wheel? Also does your chrome lips have little scratches in them that make them look hazy? Just wondering because we have the same wheels but a different style and was wondering what you do to take care of them.

I put the Hawk pads on this week too. Man they squeak like crazy. But the wheels stay clean and they bite better than stock. I thought having less brake dust would justify the squeaking, but now it's starting to annoy the crap out of me.

HPS pads aren't really known to squeal that much. Did you bed them in well? Also did you use any anti-squeal lube on the backing plate?

HP+ are a different story - they are noisy but stop oh so well

I got hooked! They were like 350.00 shipped from a guy on ebay. I removed the stock brembo rotors and these look just like them! It was the best deal Ive found on the net. If you want Ill get you a link to the seller.

Do you still get a lot of break dust with the new brakes? My rims get tons of crap on them and it is so hard to get off. I have to wash the wheels like 3 times a week. What else can I use?

How was the JIC coilover? Did you get the 10kg Front and 12kg rear? or is it 10kg front and rear? I brought the 350z set up for my G coupe 10kg and 12kg. The rear spring doesnt seem to fit right because they are way smaller them my factory one. Is there any thing I need to do, to install them?
