Avon Tyres
Not yet. Just ordered from Tire Rack. Everyone at Tire Rack Raves about them. Talked to litterally ten people. Wanted to see if there sales associates would change and no one did.

They have been around for a long time. One of the oldest tires but only been on the higher premium cars.

I've had the Avon Mtech 500's for a couple of months now on my rears. They are pretty good. The general feel of the tire is very predictable.
This is a completely subjective opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
On my old Trans Am I had the BFGoodrich KDW and Kumho MX's. I think the KDW's had the best handling IMO, while the Kumho MXs was a slight step down.
On my IS300 I tried Kumho MX, Nitto 555, Yokohama ES100, Pirelli PZero Nero (M+S), and Falken 451's. The Pirelli's felt the best out of all of them even though it was an all season tire. The Kumho and Yoko's were about the same performance. Falken 451 right below the Kumho and Yoko's just because wet performance didn't feel as good for some reason. The Nittos felt the "worst", but still acceptable.
For the current set of wheels on my G, I've only tried Falken 451's and the Avons (rears only, since the Falkens wore out). They do handle better than the Falkens. I can only theorize that they are about on par with a Kumho MX or Yokohama ES100.
The Avons seem to be wearing nicely as well. I'll probably replace the front Falkens with Avons when those wear out.
The only complaint I have is that Avons tend to have a wider section width than other tires of the same size. I was really close on my offset on the rears (18x9.5+15) and I had to dremel the fenders to keep it from rubbing. The Falkens didn't give me that problem.
