I have personal qualms with iForged as well, but that is because of absolute garbage service and owners that are just all around shady people.

That being said, I was the first person to order a 20" DPE wheel. The company is new, it has incredibly competitive pricing (prices went up due to material costs, not a company decision) and you can't beat the customer service if you order from the right place. I have had over 200 PMs in my box in the past 6 months alone, regarding DPE wheels. I have probably referred at least 50 people directly to my contact at DPE to get great deals and to grab a great set of wheels. I am currently waiting on my second set of wheels and I am also hoping that they get them done in a timely matter, but you just have to sit back and accept the fact that it is a custom wheel order, no matter what. If you don't want to wait, by all means spend more money for HRE or take your chances with iForged.

In my opinion DPE is the hottest forged wheel company right now, and if you don't believe it, check out one of the many BMW forums where there are at least 2 or 3 threads every week being posted about new DPE's. DPE is coming out with some pretty unique stuff as well, unlike iForged which just bites off every other company's style.

[/end rant]

Ahmen my brother. I just ordered another of set of wheels also. But not for my G. I ordered them for my Cayenne. Lets just say the guys over there at DPE are awesome.

So just wait, be patient.

I want a cayenne real bad and have a friend whose dad owns a porsche dealership so I could get a pretty slammin deal, only problem is I would be eating frozen dinners for awhile with insurance costs (being that I am 23). Plus I'd get all the gembella stuff for it and be even more broke.

Steve, what do you have against the center caps? They have a polished one with black vinyl and carbon one with silver/black vinyl. Granted they don't have a flag thing like HRE or Asanti.

Well, my problem is I get told 6 weeks, no wheels. Wait 3 more weeks, no wheels.
"They messed up the finish, two weeks," no wheels. "The finish is done, but the wheel assembler is moving this week," no wheels. Maybe I'd feel better if they told me it would take 12 weeks.

"underpromise and overdeliver..." Sounds good to me.

I ordered titanium asphalt. I'm going to play my violin now.

I just think they look cheap. Reminds me of Axis or ADR or something. Im sure its just me. Im odd when it comes to things like this. I also think pricing is a bit much.

I ordered a set of iforged 20' swifts full chrome for my brother, and I got them in 6 weeks. I Don't know why people hate on Iforged and are always slamming Vince, but when you are doing anything custom (custom paint, custom rims, custom Home) there is always things that pop up unexpectingly.

I know this because I am a wrought Iron fabricator / Welder. Sometimes materials are on backorder, someone ****ed up, this guy is late etc etc etc.

I agree. I got 20" Iforged Evolutions full polished in 11 weeks and it was worth it. The quality is amazing. I asked for deep lips and My spokes slide past my brembos front and back about 1/4" away. I have no regrets just stares and compliments everywhere I go

I thought that would **** some people off. Im not talking about the wheels, just the caps. DPE ADR it just looks cheap TO ME. Like I said in another post Im odd when it comes to this stuff. I dunno if its cause my best friend owns a wheel shop and I see so many wheels or what.

everyone has different taste... i am just saying, don't hate on the wheels because they aren't a flag design or something. you can always make your own caps?

fyi - titanium asphalt is the hardest finish to get perfect.. the anodizing process is never perfect it seems.

14 weeks and I still don't have them! I getting really pissed off now. Last word, the wheels are stuck at the welders. They have been stuck there for two weeks. According to James, my wheels have priority. Two weeks doesn't sound like priority to me.

Talked to James yesterday (fri). Status when I talked to James, "Haven't heard from them yet, going up to LA to have a meeting with them today." Will let you know after. No call from James, no wheels.

You know I remember in college, when you couldn't miss a deadline. No exceptions. No matter what, you had to deliver. What the hell is going over at DPE? I know these are custom wheels, but are they really that custom? I wanted a 19x9 in the front and they wanted $300 more per wheel than the 19x8. The sizes listed were 19x8 and 19x10, that's what I ordered. If they have sizes listed, one would suspect that they have made these sizes before. All I asked for was an offset to clear the brembos and lips that will push out to the fenders. I know DPE has made wheels for a brembo'd G before, look at Turbomaximas car. It's not like they're starting from scratch and I would hope they are not. I really don't want to bad mouth anyone's business, but this is getting ridiculous.

If this a backlog issue, I think Creative should really pressure DPE to give them realistic delivery dates.
