Brembos on sedan

Anybody put Brembos on their sedan? What did it take to use the stock 17" wheels, spacers? I was going to put Stillen rotors/pads on, but "journeyman" had a rotor crack so I'm having second thoughts (although the Stillen guys insist this has never happened before). What this car really needs is different valving to a more typical front/rear bias, then upgrade the brakes. Upgrading the fronts may not keep the rears from glazing and eating pads.

Re: Brembos on sedan

You know, Brembo makes replacement rotors for most foreign cars. These might be worth a try for those of you who are not ready for a big brake kit, but want more rotor durability.

Try: Brake Wharehouse in South Carolina 800-814-0702

The have regular rotors, sloted rotors, drilled rotors, slotted and drilled rotors, etc.

Re: Brembos on sedan

I don't think Brembo makes replacement rotors for this car yet. I'm getting the Stillen slotted (only) rear rotors, and hopefully the Brembo kit for the front.

Re: Brembos on sedan

For those interested here are the pics of the CRACKED rear cross drilled and slotted Stillen Rotors. no word if they will be covered under warranty.

I put just under 400 miles on these rotors. 200 miles on the street and then 200 on the track.....CRACKED after that.....THey look brand new dont they......hehe....I really love the new shade of gold paint....kinda burnt

Re: Brembos on sedan

and thats why i hate drilled+slotted rotors! they crack WAY too often, especially under heavy loads @ the track.
drilled+slots are just for looks, they do not have much performance edge. Its all a hoaks
