They couldn't patch it up? Where was it in your tire? Where did you get ***-raped for $400 for a tire?

Seriously man...$400 for ONE Potenza tire is ridiculous! If you do some smart online shopping, you could find it for average $250. Take it to shop and they'll install it for $25. Well if you bought them already, this is just a lesson learned for your future tire buying.

I bought the insurance for 250 dollars for 5 years when I got my car. So far they have had to replace one tire so I guess i am ahead of the game, Only 4.5 more years to go.

Your tires will not last 5 years. Does the insurance cover damage to only the 1st set of tires or for all of the sets you have during the 5 years?

America's Tire offers full-replacement certificates for a reasonable price.

Thumbs down

Of course, I'm one of the idiots that takes his car to the dealership for ALL maintenance. I noticed the bolt last night. I took it to the dealership this morning to see if it could be patched. According to the service guy, the puncture was way too close to the side wall to be able to patch.....thus making me spending money at the BARGAIN DEALER PRICE of $400.

But hey.......I got a free car wash

I'm so dumb, I didn't ask about that when I purchased the car.

If I allowed them to give me 400 car washes.....they would owe me a paint job too (with the way they wash cars).

When my tires are worn down, I may switch to the Falkens (if they are any good). They seem to be a good price.
