s techs for z or g??
I have a G35c, should I go with the Tein s techs for the z...which seems to have higher spring rates (over s techs for g) and if you minus the .5" for the car difference it should come out to -1.2F and -1.1R. The only doubts Im having is the front springs are progressive (386 final, dont know initial) and I don't know how the ride will compare to the G s techs with a linear 358 lbs rate.
And gaining a 1/2 will make the spring rates higher than what's advertised for the z, right?
Suggestions?
Thanks

I know that if you just get the S-techs for the G35 and no other mods, you are going to roll like crazy. They also drop it too much for my tastes.
That's why I personally ordered the S-techs for the Z. I think they only transfer +3% roll to the front over stock. I haven't installed them yet though. If you do a search on "transfer roll springs" or some variation on that, you will find a couple of posts that list all the specs and transfer rates.

You will not add more effective spring rate for the sake of the Z S-tech's dropping our coupe a additional .5" over what they will drop a Z. Your oem ride height is simply a 1/2" higher then the oem Z, theirfore the reason for the difference.
The Z S-tech spring is a lot of spring to ask the oem regular coupe shocks to control (2005 coupes with oem 19's, of course have firmer oem shocks). Moreover, shock control in the rear, will be especially lacking. Which IMO, is why we see the G Tein springs having such weak rear rates. I highly recommend that you make Tokico D-spec shocks part of the plan.

If I must do d-specs to help complete the set up, I might as well buy tein basics. I know the ride will be more harsh....but it comes out better to spend 850 and have adjustability.
What about H&R or B+G, they do more than an inch and I know H&R has 30% higher spring rates than oem. Dont know about B+G.
