Alignment with 20's

Re: Alignment with 20's
That doesn't make sense. But, if wheels do make a difference on the alignment, it makes more sense to have the car aligned with the ones you'll actually be driving on.
Changing your rims and tires shouldn't mess with an alignment. Lowering your suspension is where you might run into issues.

Re: Alignment with 20's
sorry let me make it more clear. I plan on installing eibachs and i know i have to get an alignment soon. Is it alrite to get an alignment with my 20's? because i heard you need to put your stocks back on so that they can compare the numbers to those of the factory numbers, hope this made sense

Re: Alignment with 20's
I'm assuming you have a tire on your rim that still has roughly the same diameter as the stock rim/tire set?
It's the Eibach's that'll make it hard to get your alignment. You may need some sort of camber kit in order to get it to align after it's lowered.
I'm just regurgitating what I recall from many other posts around here. You may want to wait until morning to see if someone else replies.

Re: Alignment with 20's
I could not get my G aligned to spec with eibach's and 20's. There is no camber adjustment in the front, and the rear won't quite match factory specs (however it is close). I am afraid to get it perfectly cambered in the rear anyhow, because I think it will be really close to rubbing. I do however want to get more info on camber kits for the front. I heard mention of one one this forum, but it was more than $350 dollars not installed which is totaly ridiculous.

Actually the $448 for rear only camber adjuster. I know of no camber adjuster for the front without replacing the strut. At least for the coupes.
At least you can rotate your tires on the sedan. Then if the innerware gets extreme you can unmount the tires and flip them around.
