Are my tires TOO small?
I have already placed a winter package order through tirerack.
My rear is 245/45VR-18 Dunlop Winter Sport M3 tires. These won't fit on a 18x9.5 rim?
I hope you guys can help out so they can ship it out soon. I can't believe it's already snowing!
Thanks,
Henry

is there any safety issue? Is it because the tire has to stretch over the wheel?
What is the 9.5 in the rear suppose to achieve? I just thought the staggered setup would look nicer. do you guys think I can notice the difference.
Would a staggered setup be at a disadvantage in snow?
yea...it's my first time buying tires and rims.

By using a narrower rim and tire combo the contact patch is decreased and therefore increases the PSI, giving better traction.
You have the same amount of weight with a smaller contact patch, therefore more traction in the snow.
