Big Rimz

I have been thinking about putting 19's on my G35 coupe 6MT with 285/35/19 and 245/35/19 along with the Eibach lowering kit. The question is(for the people with 19's or bigger and preferably with a lowering kit) How is the ride effected with the larger wheels and smaller tires? Does the car hop on bumps? Problems? Benefits? I like to corner fast, and I dont want to loose my rear end because the car jumped on a bump...Thanks for the advice!

Re: Big Rimz

You will loose a little ride quality with both setup.. Not much though. I have 20's and I have to problems with it. However I do not talke hard turns that much. And when I do, im thinking about how much wear I'm causing to my tires. I've been saving 5 bucks a day away to prepare myself for my next to buy a new set of tires. With my 20's the car seems a bit slower take off. As for taking the turns hard it does okay. Not what you might think it shoulld. Definately we need to get some swaybars.

If I had 19's I assume you will less problems taking turn hard or bumbs.

Re: Big Rimz

You can definitly expect some loss of ride quality with the 19s...but from the feedback ive recieved from 350 and g35 owners...the Eibach kit is very light feeling, and actually increases both the quality and performance of the ride. What wheels are you considering?

Thank you,

Re: Big Rimz

i have 20's and the ride is very close to the ride with the stock 18's. no problems and my 20's are lighter than my stock 18's.
