I leave my girlfriend(s) at home. Keeps the car close to factory time. In the past, the spare tire has saved me on numerous times due to pothole land Boston. I rather ditch the passengers get rid of my rear and passenger seats then lose a spare tire.

I looked under there and found my factory amp. I was thinking of squeezing a nitrous bottle mount under there. 5 lb bottle. What do you guys think?

Mine is still in the trunk under all the stereo equipment. I have thought about removing it because if I have a flat regardless if my spare is in the trunk. I am not putting all my luggage on the side of the road, or taking my system out to change a tire. Thats what roadside coverage is for.

The metal box on the left in the trunk is the Bose Amp.

lol whenever I need to take mine out I have to set my sub on the ground (luckily I thought of this and left a really long line of speaker wire to it. And then lift up my amp a little bit while I slide the mat out. Sure is a pain haha

the handling feels different without the spare tire/jack/carpet. I'd imagine the spare is pretty far away from center of gravity on the car so it makes a more pronounced difference. I can definitely tell a difference if I'm running less than 1/4 tank of gas and an empty trunk. It steps out a lot more in the tail end as you give it gas early coming out of a curve. I have AAA but put the spare back in for long trips.
