Can someone please tell me if this tire size will work with my 20" combo

I like the low profile look, and more of a stretch look. Im ordering I-Forge Evo's 20X8.5 and 20X10. My Tire size will be 225/35/20 & 255/35/20. Will this be ok as far as ride is concerned?

I you want a stretched look that will fit those wheels properly, don't go any less than 245/35s and 275/30s in the rear. You want traction, don't you?

I've never heard of anyone running the sizes you've been recommeded for 20s. You'll definitely be really streched.

dude, if you want the stretched look, go wider wheels, not narrower tires (pretty sure this will mess up your vcd and speedo)...but i'm a sedan owner, can't tell you what size will give you that look...

good luck,
benjamin

225/35-20 can go on a 7.5-9.0 wide wheel
255/35-20 can go on a 8.5-10.0 wide wheel

You will be fine, it will be stretched but fit fine.

I'm running 245/275 on mine and I have the same size wheels you do. Mine are stretched more than I like. If you can get 225/255, that would really really be stretched. Why do you want them so stretched?

Stretched tires = drift style.

You can also run more agressive offsets.

I am running 245/275 as well on my 20x8.5 and 20x10. The front tires are perfectly flush with the wheel lip, the rear has a slight stretch to it.

no, you can run 225 and 255 on the rears. trust me. i know a guy who has run a 245/35 on a 10" rear Work wheel. he's a drifter too. you'll be fine if you want the JDM stretched look. as far as the ride goes, it won't be too bad. the normal road noise, and feel will be just about the same. your tires will be stickier as well, so traction will be pronounced much more. good luck, and post pics of those bad a.ss bitches when you mount/balance them.
