I live in san diego and it rains like 2 weeks out of the year. So i dont care about all weather but do care about traction. I have done lots of research and will deffinitly be getting the KDW II. These are the ultimate tire. A little bit of road noise but I doubt i will hear it since i listen to my stereo really loud. + their are other things in the engine that make a lot of noise.

Thank You All for the great Ideas!!
if you dont care about wet why are you getting the kdw - w = wet - they make a kd that is a straight summer tire

Without a doubt, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. Outstanding handling in the wet and very good in the dry, pretty quiet too.+ aggresive looking tread design and good mileage

ive had the oem pilot sports, s03 and ps2. the latter two in 19's

if you want a really hardcore tire, go s03. they have great feel, but are a bit stiff and noisy

ps2's are a bit more soft and squishy but have excellent grip, and are pretty quiet

i hated the oem pilot sports

ps2's are expensive and s03's arent made any more. i would say go with the eagle f1 gsd3's. people seem to like toyo's but everybody that i know who has switched away from toyo say they will never go back.

I dont know what sizes you're running but if you want the stickiest street tire you can get, look at the Bridgestone RE-01R's. For 19's they come in 245/35 and 275/30. A lot of the EVO's and STI's are using them at autoX instead of racing tires because they're that sticky. They'll only last you about 10K miles but if you want sticky, these are for you.

DOT-R tires are going to be in a whole different class than UHP tires the majority of the members here run. Don't drive in the rain, and expect <5000 miles per set.
