Brembo caliper swap w/ Lancer EVO

I was wondering if anyone knows if the brembo calipers from the Lancer EVO are the same as the ones on the G35. My friend would like to swap his red Brembos for my gold ones. I think the red ones would look good on my ivory pearl coupe. Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Why not just paint the ones you have? I will check but I don't think the rotors are the same size.

Re: Brembo caliper swap w/ Lancer EVO

Okay I just checked and the diameter of the Brembo rotors on the coupe is larger (only by a couple hundreds of an inch) than the Evo's, I'm not sure about the width though.

Re: Brembo caliper swap w/ Lancer EVO

each caliper is dighned to work with ur master cylinder. I dont know if we have the same size master cylinder. If the Evo has a master cylinder or similar size then it should work but if the Evo's are a lot bigger then our break peddal will be mushy and if thiers is a lot smaller the breaks will be to firm. Idealy u want slighty stiffer then stock. good luck hope that helps sorry i know my spelling is really shity in this post.

Infiniti G35 6MT Brembo® 12.76" x 1.18" ventilated front rotors / 13.07" x 0.87" ventilated rear rotors.

Mitsubishi EVO 8 Brembo® 12.6” ventilated front rotors / 11.8-inch ventilated rear rotors.

As you can see we have the bigger brakes

Nope, you've got the awesome but expensive ones. The ones on the EVO are 4 piston in front and 2 piston in rear, just like the G coupes but in red and I found out from Brembo of North America that they are different calipers. Oh well, sweet brakes though, Gspot. I prolly will pick up some AP's front and back since I can't afford those brembos you got.
