To the rest of the group. Thanks for all the GREAT comments!! To that one guy, nope not getting rapped, I do not have the TPS. = P They just told me that's how much they cost. I'm sure they are full of it, like you said.
Not sure what I'm going to do, I'll PM the guy a couple posts above and see what that's all about. Other than that, who knows...like one guy said I don't need the front necessarly right now, they have a tiny bit of life left in them...
I'm looking at PepBoys right now stating that they will beat Tirerack.com's price. They will match it and then take 5% off. Once I get them to quote me that price, I'll try and go to the next place that matches/beats prices and see if I can "bid" the price even lower. It's a shot in the dark. We'll see..
I'll keep ya'll posted....

Tires are 95% of the entire vehicles handling and wet braking ability, the suspension design and the brake design make up the other 5%.
Aftermarket Upgrades usually improve things by 2,3,4% at the absolute best many low cost tires can degrade the wet stopping ability by 10-20 feet.
Always study wet braking distances on Tirerack to get an idea of what you are buying.
Half worn tires are significantly worse in wet braking unfortunately there are few published test of half worn tires!
