Help with Changing Shocks & Sway Bars

I'm the original owner of 2003 G35 Coupe, 6 speed MT, Brembo Brakes. I'm wondering how hard of a job it would be to change all four (4) shocks and sway bars. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thumbs up

Changing the shocks is easy (especially in the rear), the fronts require a spring compressor. If the car is lowered, you won't need a spring compressor. The swaybars you can do a search for installing them.

It's all fairly simple. The struts up front will be the hardest as mentioned. If you're not already, now would be a good time to look into lowering springs as well if you want to go that route. Keeping the stock springs WILL require the compressor which you can just rent from Autozone or local store. Rear is a simple few nuts and it's out.
For the sways, they are kinda odd shaped and require a little finess getting the old ones out and new ones on. The hardest time I had with mine is breaking loose the bracket bolts on the front sway. Other than that it should be pretty simple, brackets and end links and it's off. In the rear, the exhaust gets in the way but doable without taking it off. I recommend Hotchkis sways, they're adjustable and a pretty decent price.
Good luck!

I've been running Stillen sways on stock endlinks for 7+ years and they've been great. Really enhanced the car and has made it corner much flatter, especially when paired with Tokico DSP-7 shocks all around. Should have come with them from the factory.
