Okay- So Japtrix Fails

This is pretty Florida specific but I've got a little rant that I think should be searchable for anyone in Florida looking to get some tuning done.

Japtrix is the place that got me into modifying my cars. Specifically Roger there (not big roger that picks up the phone, but the guy there that actually knows how to treat customers and tune cars). If I ever had a question he would (and really still would) be more than willing to talk to be about it in great detail no matter how basic the question was/is.

Now we've got this other roger who 'runs' the business and this 'tuner' jack who have come from some higher calling of God.

The bottom line from this rant.

Jack is a tool- And as far as I'm concerned he may be a good tuner, but he has never shown that to me. He can't say anything different, I'm sure we'd all call 10.0 A/F WOT @ 4000RPMS a joke of a tune. He blames my lack of power on my stall converter and his dyno is a quote... "dick breaker".

How do you charge someone 500$ do a **** job- and actually sleep at night.

Then have the audacity to 'wave' the 75$ flat fee of putting my car on the dyno and say but it will be 199$ an hour when I call back saying that the tune I got was crap.

I PAID YOU to tune my car CORRECTLY- it's not my job to check your work.. I'M NOT A TUNER. MY CAR WAS BROKEN FOR MONTHS ******* or else i would have come right back.

So J.tibbs you win- I'll see ya soon.

Sooo long japtrix.

I'd be there tomorrow if he picked up the phone
I think it's crazy that I've been turbo'd for over a year and only had one good tune on it that lasted 2 months... at 4.5 psi.

Sorry about your situation, however i have been dealing with *** Trix Racing for over 10 yrs and they have worked on all my cars there service is top notch. Both Roger & Jack are good guys, i never had any problem. I hope Jack gets on the board and explain his part. Until that i think there is no need to bash on JapTrix. Racing.

There really isn't another side to this. I can appreciate your loyalty. I cannot appreciate poor service or poor quality service. I'm not bashing at all- This is simply what has happened. My expectations for my money was not met and I am upset. Roger had NO intention of even pretending to care. Even if they did catch wind of this thread and called me back and offered to do THE RIGHT THING- I doubt I'd answer the phone. After the thousands (probably close to 10,000$) i've spent with them. I deserve better.

My main problem is it wasn't always like this.

I'll be sure to post a video of how my power band is stuck at 10.0 AF .. and then I'll post it up when someone actually takes more than 10 minutes to tune it.

I'm sure you can do a great job jack- You've just never shown that to me.

I just rather go to someone who would rather get the tuning right to ACTUALLY GET horsepower instead of having some guy sitting in my trunk so the dyno reads better numbers.

Shawn- Have you had a tune done here?
