Have service check your VIN. Work in some other service with it and get yourself a discount and they are happy.

I bet it's your airbag connector under your driver seat. It seems like it was a problem in the 05s. The dealer tried to fix mine by tie wrapping the connector close and wrapping it in electrical tape which kept the light off for like 3 days. I then fixed it myself by just by taking the connector apart and filling both sides with dielectric grease and then let the connector hang free. No airbag light for almost a year now.

Yeah the base model was not impressive at all.
I over exaggerated a bit
And they didn't fix the air bag ..

They told me (05 AT) I had to pay a $180 or so service charge to determine if it's a faulty connector or something else. Such crap

They need to check your VIN. If it hasn't been performed they're supposed to just do it whether or not you are having a problem at no charge.

Maybe you have an actual problem that isn't directly related to the recall portion? Can't expect everything for free.
