Hello every one got a couple question hope you guy can help me out.

3. My G is a auto but i love to go w the manual shift, is there any right way to do it, do i need to kick the break and shift or just holding gas and shift????

4. I planting on changing out my new brake disk ( slot n drill ) of course have to look cool any recommend brand?

#1) Did you check the fuse?

#2) What's your budget? Paint is something you get what you pay for, so if you really want to repaint the car, you can spend anywhere from $2000-5000 depending on how nice a job you want. You could get it painted cheaper, but this is where "you get what you pay for" comes into play.

#3) Just hold the gas steady and shift. It's not like a true stick shift where you need to lift off the gas. Just keep your foot steady on the upshift and downshift and the car will do the rest.

#4) I dunno because I like my rotors solid

1) This car has some pretty complicated electronics, I know you checked all fuses, but have you tried replacing it with the spare in the fuse box?

2) You get what you pay for, so be careful with going to a place that does $200 paint jobs. A good detail may be good enough, like you mentioned.

3) Don't do this too often, you'll likely wreck your tranny. If you like to drive stick then see if you can trade-up to a 6MT. It'll cost you way less than a new transmission. But no.. you don't need to left off the gas just drive normally.

4) IMO, this isn't worth all of the money and effort. Unless you are driving Nascar fast all of the time, you don't need cross drilled rotors. If you still want to go that way however, StopTech is probably the way to go. Me personally, just did the Autozone Duralast Gold.

Well if you drive it aggressively continually it would be like all things, you'll wear out parts. Am AT is meant to be well, automatic, as the name implies. The manual overide is meant for overtaking on highways and such, not for daily driving and especially not aggressively.

Plus, the 6MT is just sooo fun.

Well if you checked the fuse box and all appears to be fine and you don't want to get reamed by the dealer... Try this write-up... Apparently this is a very common problem
