For you I recommend ....RICE ...no really stick with OEM 4300k-5000k and you will gain light output instead of loosing light and gaining ghey color

5000k if you can, or else go with the 6000k.

When i went from 4300K to 6000K, i defintely noticed a loss of some visibility.

So, out of those two, if you want to see...6K

Of course, some people only care about looks...those are the guys with 12K HID's and 20% tint on the windshield.

6k isn't half bad once you get used to it. Just depends on if you're going for looks vs functionality.

If you drive in a city like I do, the streetlights make up for it. No issue at all

Now, when i drive in the suburbs down roads with no lights at all, i find myself flipping on my 3K High beams a lot. But i prob would do the same with the stock 4300K lights as well

Same experience here. Don't go over 6000.

I went with 6K and a 55W ballast (washes the color out a bit) and I'm very very satisfied with the color and output.
Nice white with just a hint of blue, clearly "HID" looking, but far from "ricer blue"
I've recently seen 8Ks on a 25w ballast, and I definitely wouldn't go that route. Far too blue IMO.
