Carbon fiber trunk and spoiler?? Bad idea?

I have a carbon fiber trunk. I am planning on getting apr spoiler. Do you think I should swap to a regular metal trunk, or do you think I should keep carbon fiber. I'm thinking of keeping my carbon fiber trunk. The whole center of my car is carbon fiber. Any ideas would help.

I agree Toretto. Im still unsure though. Im not really going to be going "track speed". Im only asking the question because I like the HD trunk. I also think it would look funny for all of my car to be carbon fiber and then my trunks not. Im still looking into it. I dont know how much downforce it will create. Anywho Im always looking for advice and more options.

I doubt he is going to be doing time attack speeds, plus the spoiler doesnt have nearly as much downforce. More of a cosmetic mod than anything.

Which carbon trunk do you have? OEM style or duckbill? Is your roof painted or carbon capped? I always loved the half painted look of the mastergrade trunk.

I'd keep the CF then if it's just for looks.

Yes I will be really honest. It's more for looks than function. I rarely hit triple digits. Mainly staying around 70 or so mph. Rarely pedal to the floor. I hate to say its just for show but it is haha. I have a mastergrade trunk. I would probably swap to a hd trunk. Maybe stay with the bird bath style one. If we all think it will be okay. If it's going to rip it up at highway speeds I'm scared haha. I have a real carbon fiber cap on the roof no wrap no paint.

But how would you open the trunk? Wouldn't it hit the spoiler haha.

But trunk??? HAHAHAHA.... I'm still undecided, I think it looks good but scares me. Like running a carbon fiber hood with no pins..... I'm going widebody with some bolt on flares, should look good.

I have a buddy that's a engineer, and works with wind tunnels. Maybe what I will do is have him spec out how much downforce will be generated from the spoiler say up to 120. I don't think I will be going much over that. Ever.
