New 2007 G pics from Lennox, MA
I have been following these forums for some time, and am very interested in the 2007 G. Luckily I was visiting my parents in upstate NY, when I read about the Lennox, MA event. I jumped at the chance to take a drive through the Berkshires, in hopes of getting a glimpse of the G. I called the Wheatleigh to inquire about the event, and they told me it was private. However, I decided I would take a chance and see if I could see the car in person. I arrived at the hotel at the perfect time, as all of the journalists were having lunch and attending a presentation on the new G. I walked up to the main entrance and saw 5 shiny new G’s parked outside the hotel. As I was walking up to the entrance, and saw all the G’s, I was struck by the cars presence. Quite simply, none of the pictures I have seen have done this car justice. You simply need to see it in person. On one hand the car looks very luxurious, but then you blink and look again, and it looks sinister. It definitely has a multiple personality (I think you will see what I mean when you see it in person).
While walking around one of the Gs parked on the grass, I saw an Infiniti rep coming out of the hotel. I introduced myself, and told her I read about the event on the G35Driver.com forums. She was extremely nice and excited to talk about the new car (most of what she told me has already been discussed on these forums). I asked her when we would start seeing the reviews from this launch, as well as other test drives and comparisons. She stated that the press embargo ends on 9/1 – hopefully less than two weeks before we start seeing some reviews… Some of things I noticed that I had not seen before:
1)The different lower grills on the various G’s
2)The spoiler on the dark blue G,
3)The red S on the G35 badge
When I asked about those items, I was told that these were all pre-production models, which was further confirmed by one of the other reps who proceeded to pull a sign from under the passenger side visor stating the same thing. So those items may or may not make it into production. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see the car in motion, or hear the sound of the car, but the trip was definitely worthwhile. I really think Infiniti will have a winner with the new G. Here are the pics – I hope you enjoy them.

Wow, great post......thanks so much for sharing!!!
Okay, I have to ask about the spoiler you mentioned on the blue G, what did it look like? Was it a full spoiler like we have had in the past? Details, details.
Also, that is very interesting about the "S" on the G35 badge. I would assume that would be for the "Sport" model.
Again, thanks for sharing.

Wow, awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the new G35 in person. Too bad to see no Ivory Pearl among them, which I'm considering to buy.
To me, the new design looks so much better and more sophisticated than current. It looks very upscale with lots of little detail. Looks very sporty too. I think Infiniti has done marvelous job to further improving the design while keeping its original character.
