I'm down! Coming from Florida, I've never taken the G on some good twisties.
Although I've taken it on some lately, breaking the rear loose in 3rd gear is very exciting.

i was thinking (weather permitting) the weekend after easter....saturday or sunday...doesnt matter which day for me, im off weekends so try to figure out which day is better for everyone else... Ive done this trip on my motorcycle and thought that one day, with a few others, would be alot of fun.

yea it has been a while, but after past drives the best days to go that fits everyones schedule is usually a sunday. we always had jimmy to lead us but i dont know if hes up for it. we might want to wait till like mid march or later just so it warms up a little so more people will come out.

I'm interested! Sundays usually work best for me, plus there are fewer cars/less traffic on the roads on a Sunday rather than a Saturday.

The dates would be either APRIL 2nd OR APRIL 3RD. Route 33 west is a road that doesnt have many cars traveling on it....it actually gets more cars during the week. the scenes are gorgeous and i will have my digital so i can post up pics of it. If you have never been....you should go atleast once.....there no roads like it around here.

Hey I posted it over on my350z. I'm sure those guys would like to join. Can you give us any more info on the area? Where is 211? Also, I vote for a little later start time, 9 a.m. is kinda early

It is a bit of a long drive....somwhere in the neighborhood of 300 miles....but you dont even notice it becuase the mountains are crazy as hell. I say 9 am so we can leave by 10....there are always people that are going to be late. as far as me being a morning person....during the week i have to be up early (530am) but on the weekends...hell no, but i can live with it for this drive....absolutely worth it.
