Removal of 06AT shifter piece..
So I screwed up.. I was following the 06mt DIY HU removal and got to the part where you need to take the piece off from over the shifter and ended up bending (almost breaking) the plastic that surrounds the shifter. So it now has a nice kink in the plastic.
I put the car in neutral, pulled down the boot, took the clip off, set the **** to the side, and then started pulling. Got half the the ring around the shifter off when it buckled.
Does anyone know the part number so I can replace it? And what is the correct way to get this part of the console off? Do you have to pull the little center part off first before you can pull the surrounding plastic off?
Any help would be appreciated..
Thanks!

i dont think you're suppose to just pull up from the top, you might have to go underneath....
