Stock H.U. says Error

Hello, I'n new to the G35 world and have come across some quirks with my 03.5 sedan. I don't have the Bose system but instead the 120 watt 6-disc in dash changer. However my CD player won't allow any discs in or out and says Error: FO . Anyone know what this means? Can I reset it. Is the stock unit still under warranty, I have 50K miles? And is there anyway to get my ESN number from the satellite, I already was subscribing to Sirius before I got the G and need to tell them my new ESN number so I can switch. Any info is appreciated, thanks

Congrats, your HU is broken. Now do a search on here, it's been covered dozens of times.

What's been covered? How to pull apart my stock head unit and fix it myself? All I wanted to know if it's still under warranty. Nothing came up thru the searches about that particular error code. I've been a G35 owner for 1 day, I'm not yet a forum junkie.
Wow, you are quick to put people on blast, huh. I thought I left Maxima.org.

Thanks Alan, that's what I needed to know. I'll call the stealership and have them do it for free. I appreciate you actually contributing worthwhile info instead of wasting time flaming people for asking questions. Later

Wow.... you obviously do not need to be on internet forums if you think me telling you that this has been covered dozens of times is "flaming" or "blasting." You can do a search on my name to see actual flames or blasts.

Regardless of your searching abilities or efforts therein, this EXACT error has been covered dozens of times in the forums. Searching and changing the search function to "Boolean" may help you yield better results.

You don't have to he a forum junkie to do a little research before asking people for help. And getting rude because they didn't give you an answer that was up par for you is hillarious.

See, now your actually giving some meaningful information. "Boolean"? How in the hell would I know what that is, let alone know that it relates to my head unit? I'm just asking questions, if you don't feel like answering them, then don't respond, but to respond with saying "congrats, you have a broken head unit (sarcastically)" does me no good, and I'm rude? And I did do "a little research" with no results, so I'm asking if anyone may know any other places to look. Searching for Boolean may help me and thank you, but if you expect me to a forums vet when it comes to searching hundreds of pages with key words, alternate words, and any other inside infiniti knowledge then just don't reply, I don't need somebody saying "just do a search". I've done searches, Alan didn't need to waste a post saying "do a search", he had an answer and I appreciated it.

Boolean is a search option on the search page. It changes the way the search is performed. It's not a term related to cars, car audio, head units, or anything.

nm, I give up.

Alright, I appreciate the tip. I understand your trying to stear me in the right direction, I'll try the Boolean search. I guess I'm just used to all the thousands of smart-asses on Maxima.org. Truce?
