Oh Yeah... I am definately getting the Dynamat... I have a Optima RedTop Battery now and was thinking about a 2nd battery for the "just-in-case" scenerio... Better to be safe than sorry ya know...

And as for the prices.... Ebay is your friend

We had lengthily discussions regarding the Cap vs Battery before on this forum, and I am not look to have those discussions again , but if he is going to enter the shows? it might be more beneficial for him to invest in second bettery and isolator in the long run, besides the audio part? he also have plans to add some video to the car as well(trunk lid speakers?), if so? when he have second battery? he dont have to worry about starting his car every 15 mins just to charge up the battery during the shows.

Yeah... I will have 6 monitors... One in dash, 2 in visors, 2 in headrests and one in the trunk lid... Also the X-Box which takes alot of power so I think a Yellow-Top is probably wise.

ahhh ahhhh ahhhhh.. I see, I passed on reading up the trunk lid speakers.. plus Triji is a CAR SHOW FREAK lol. so yes, I would rather go up with the second battery. If it was just for driving around I would rather opt for the farad cap. Or am I wrong ? O.o lol

I'm probably going to regret with this responds but...with 10W6 powered by 1000/1 is bit of over kill begin with, even on the power range chart on JL site, 1000 watts to 10W6 might be in warranty voiding regions, so I doubt the 1000/1 will be driven that hard to taken advantage of extra current/burst(?) stored in the Cap...but if he chose 250/1 instaded? Cap might have more noticeable benefit in that set-up than a second battery in everyday use.

I was originally going to go w/ 10W7's but read that would be huge overkill for the G35... So that is how I ended up at the 10W6's.... If I do not turn it up too much I should not damage them, right? ... Sh!*... Is the 1000/1 to much for the 2 10W6's if I keep it at a mellow level?

I might consider some different front speakers, and possibly scratching the 6x9's. The front speakers are the most important component for proper staging. Those speakers are decent, but there are much better for slightly more. Plus if you scratch the 6x9's, you can focus even more $$ on the fronts. The only thing those 6x9's will do is mess up your sound stage. Look at something like DLS, CDT, Diamond Audio, Morel. You can get some DLS UP6's for about $280, and they will sound much better.

I have a carPC (2.8GHZ Pentium 4 Mobile, 1gig RAM, 120GB HDD), a JL 500/5, digital wheelz 7" VGA touchscreen widescreen, a Pioneer AVH-6800DVD, TR-7, SWI-X, two DC-DC power supplies, XMDirect unit, external SoundBlaster Audigy USB card... all running off the stock battery and stock alternator. And I'm fine. I even frequently run all this with the car off for 15-30 min at a time.
