Thats exactly the wire, but you are looking on the wrong end. Check out the EC.pdf file, around page 100 your will find the pinout for the ECU. Look for the P/NP switch input. That will be your wire.

autopage is nice...thats what i have...

the biggest part about the alarm is make sure you have a great installer otherwise you will be in a world of problems!!!

Yeah, that's it. The ECU is behind the glovebox.

well, just got off the phone with an installer who says he owns a g 6mt and didnt put the autostart cause he didnt want the manual/gear problem. Told him about this, and was told it would fry the ECU.....i dont understand how its possible, is he just a doutch who doesnt know what he's talking about or would there be something else to it?

He is wrong. Look at the schematic. The P/NP switch is physically mounted in the tranny. One side is connected to ground, the other side goes to the ECU.

When you read the ground off of the signal, you are reading it THROUGH the switch, NOT from the ECU. The ECU pin is an INPUT, not an output.
