Aftermarket 6.5" Motorized InDash fits in cubby!

Hey Has anyone seen this or have pictures... I am considering it.

http://www.mobilevideo4less.com/Merc...t_Code=INF3569

its a 6.5" Motorized InDash says its for models "2003-2005" which is a concern becuase the texture of the finish of the cubby cover is different in the 05 it's rough and I have an 03. Another concern is I called and they said it only comes in black so I would have to paint it to match platnium/titanium interior which I found a post that has some great info.

I don't have nav and thought this would be an excellent way to have an oem look with another hide away Nav or an avic-88/90 DVD in the upper clove box.

Mr2Bob.com is down which was an excellent site if anyone has it cached please pm!

Any comments/suggestions? Of course a double din option has been in my mind but I'm part of the .0000001% that likes a tape deck! And before I get flammed for it I use 8-track too! (just kidding).

Damn it now I have to get this lol
Much better price then the other one offered that you have to manually take in & out. The only thing I dont like is that its kind of bulges out a bit when closed

TBYERS SAYS:
I have installed the unit in my 2005 Lakeshore Blue Coupe. The link is as followed :https://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128132

Problem: The LCD monitor that's offered by www.mobile4less.com does not have the proper connector to support a navigation system. I have the Pioneer avic-88. You will have to buy an adapter in order to connect the Navigation system to the LCD monitor. I have an AVIC-88 that I bought, but I will not use it. I am going to dipslay the navigation system on an AudioVox rear view mirror. This will require an AudioVox navigation system. If you want to buy the Pioneer AVIC-88 I will sell it for dirt cheap. Basically half of what I paid. Hit me up if you are interested tbyers18@hotmail.com

TBYERS SAYS:

Yes it 's motorized. When the unit receives a signal it rises, when there is no signal it lowers. You have to see what type of connector the OEM navigation system has. The LCD screen has regular Video inputs that are similar to the ones on the rear of television. Navigation system typically have a special RGB 8-Pin connector.
