I found the same company, I emailed them two times and one was regarding the cheap look of the buttons here is the orignal question and answers:

question:
so that includes the dash kit and a/c controller?
> do you have them in stock but i notice your has an option for single din
radios. I would like this for a double din install, I wasn't able to see the
close up to tell the difference.
> Can you help me out, I love the price and will like to order one from you if
you have them in stock to be shipped and it is a seems install for double din
installs

Answer: Yes the kit includes the a/c controller and shows to do both single and double
din. I don't have these in stock but I am taking preorders so that you can get
one of the first that come out.

Next reply:when do you expect them in?
and, I was able to pull a picture, the controls on the ac control do not seem to
be identical to the stock verison like the other ones I've seen. Is this just a
misinterpentation of the picture or is different somehow.

answer: I dont know when I will recive the first run of kits.
Please call Metra @ 800 221-0932 x2 with other questions.

Now regarding the harness, in short, are you saying the sosche verison of the wiring will not work or go through the bose amp? I purchased my wiring harness from cardomain the sosche brand. I brought the basic wiring harness and the other amp hook up, can someone explain this. I'm sure someone knows about the sosche brand and amp do-hicky

Referring to Brikkman:

I just got a re-fund from Pegan on my Paypal. They canceled my order stating that they do not know when it will be in stock. I too called Installer.com and asked about the kit and they have no idea when it will be available. This really sucks. lol. Does ANYONE have a DD kit for me to buy off of them!?!?

Well being that the dd kit is not available we wont know the quality of it until it comes out. Hopefully it will be just as good as the JDM double din finisher. METRA makes some decent kits.

I called them too today. I asked if the buttons on the A/C control illuminate, cause from the looks of it they dont look like they do, but they didnt have an answer for me. Ive had my Clarion MAX674VD laying around for 2 weeks already, so i bit the bullet and bought the EXPENSIVE JDM version

I'm a total noob when it comes to installing amps and stuff, so please bear with my possibly stupid questions.

So, all I need is to run power to the back from the battery. Ground to the chassis. And using this harness to connect to one of the connectors in the trunk, I can add an amp and a sub to my car? Is it really that simple?

Well, I my thought process was as the same as hooking up your standard radio to a car. I figured the amp was intergrated and would pass through the standard harness. Is this not correct?
I guess I'm just trying to hook it up standard.

i also contacted grubbs about my a/c controller and dd dash kit.
I told them to cancel the a/c controller and ship the dash kit. I have contacted the guy in japan, waiting on response now. I should have ordered it from him the first time around (trying to save a little dough).

You've got it. You also have to tap into the remote wire so that the amp will turn on.
