To good to be true! Complete Double Din for 158.99 and amp integration harness.
Wow, you would think that metra would want this in the hands of G35 drivers as soon as possible seeing as how they are not only cheaper, but also the only thing "available" right now.
I just got off the phone with Metra. They said that the kit is "...Almost off production, and should be shipping out within the next 2 to 3 weeks." and that "...It will be offered in both Black and Silver." Now I don't know if I should buy the JDM kit off this guy for $400 bucks (with no bracket, even though I don't need it) or hold off some more. LOL

i have an 03 coupe without nav. i would like an eclipse 5500/5510/6600/6610 and with the skyline double din kit it looks oem. one problem. the heater controls are out of stock everywhere. so there are no other options for heater control, since they are built into the faceplate of the radio.
i used to be an electronic bench tech, so i believe i can cut headunit/hvac board and rebuild the circuit. thats why i was wondering if anyone had tried it. it would be nice if i could find an extra radio board so i didn't have to rip apart my car and go without a radio for a few days
even if anyone has a oem radio laying around if they could take pictures (front and back) of the circuit board it could help. and save people 200 bucks!!

It's out I actually stopped by Boomer in my area and talked to the owner there and actually has 4 in stock. I asked him could I check it out and I would say it's not the greatest looking of quality but he did advise me it could be painted. I mean if someone who isn't big on looks and does'nt want to spend the cash n the JDM stuff then why not.
