OHM question...

I believe the JL 10w3v2-d4 sub I have now is wired as such...



Would anyone know what OHM that produces? Is it wired in a correct manner? I purchased it this way...so I'm wondering.

Thanks for the help.

Wired exactly like that it is still 4 Ohm. You have one voice coil sitting doing nothing. That connection going from top negative to bottom positive doesn't matter because the other negative is left floating...aka doing nothing.

^+1...You've only got one voice coil playing. This isn't good on a DVC subwoofer. What ohm are you trying to achieve, 2 or 4?

I re-wired it so it is parallel now.
