I believe the JL 10w3v2-d4 sub I have now is wired as such...

Would anyone know what OHM that produces? Is it wired in a correct manner? I purchased it this way...so I'm wondering.

Wired exactly like that it is still 4 Ohm. You have one voice coil sitting doing nothing. That connection going from top negative to bottom positive doesn't matter because the other negative is left floating...aka doing nothing.Originally Posted by JYear

^+1...You've only got one voice coil playing. This isn't good on a DVC subwoofer. What ohm are you trying to achieve, 2 or 4?
